After a few months of development, Drakenwrath's first series of thematic masks is completed. Called the Vengeful Ten, these Papier Mache pieces are medium-scale decorative masks meant for hanging on walls. Each piece has a unique design and theme as explained below.
Fire Dragon Dracnier
The first mask in the Vengeful Ten mask series is the fire dragon, Dracnier. Born in a shadowy inferno, this creature's color scheme is comprised of reds and oranges to match the flames accented with deep red decorative jewels. Dracnier's general shape is typical of most western dragons with sharp ridged horns and jagged fangs. These design choices translate into his emblem which was created with a gradient effect mixing the colors of fire.

Swamp Demon Velus
The second mask in the set is the swamp demon, Velus. Dark, subdued color schemes of this creature are meant to blend in with the murky depths of bogs and swamps in which he dwells. Mostly nocturnal, Velus has been known to silently stalk his prey from below the surface, pulling them down when they least expect it. In addition to the dark color scheme emphasized by the blackwashing, this mask's eyes and teeth glow in the dark. These design choices are also noticeable in the emblem's gradient pattern.

Schism's features include a large mouth full of fangs, and large ears. The two-tone color scheme translates well into the pieces' emblem which was achieved using a gradient color scheme.

The fourth entry in the Vengeful ten series is the aquatic demon, Murk. As shown in his amphibious features, this creature is at home in flowing rivers and rapids, making frequent meals of small animals and fish. The greens and oranges of Murk's coloring are meant to blend in with the vibrant plants found near the watery habitat in which he dwells which is also communicated in his emblem.

Nocturnal Bat Demon Ceruleoptera
The next creature in the Vengeful Ten series is the airborne female bat demon Ceruleoptera. This creature's coloring is curious due to the more vibrant color scheme typically not seen in nocturnal predators. Her jagged snout fins serve as sensory perception devices for navigating in the darkness. Orange jewels contrast with the blues and greens of her color scheme, as do the blood-red eyes. The emblem for Ceruleoptera captures all of these features as well, showing the feral aspects of the creature.

This creature's design also features layered scales that cover her body as a defense against enemy threats. Much like other venomous creatures display their attributes in their color schemes, Lythe's color scheme contrasts bright yellow with dark purple and the blackwash highlights bring out the depth and texture of her scales.

Dragon Emperor Ryuzai
The final and iconic creature in the Vengeful Ten set is the dragon emperor, Ryuzai. His design was used as the inspiration for the series logo and shows the simple yet familiar characteristics found in typical dragons. Ryuzai is a black dragon who embodies rage and fury, as show by the coloring of his mask and emblem. In sharp contrast to the black and blues, this creature's eyes glow in the dark. Both the design aspects and color schemes are present in Ryuzai's emblem.
*Note: This mask is the only one in the Vengeful Ten set that is not for sale. The piece will instead be incorporated into the Drakenwrath Museum to represent the Vengeful Ten series.
